Write in The Spicy Academy Blog
Are you a current or former sex worker based in Australia with stories, insights, and tips to share?
We're trying to build something special—and we want your voice to be part of it.
The Spicy Academy is seeking blog contributors with lived experience in sex work to help us build a diverse, inclusive, and empowering platform. Whether you’ve danced in clubs, done private bookings, offered online services, or worked in other areas of the industry—we want to hear from you.

What We're Looking For?

-
Educational content (tips, tricks, client management, safety, mental health, etc.)
-
Personal stories and reflections from lived experiences
-
Honest guidance from those who’ve navigated the challenges of the industry
-
Unique perspectives from people of all backgrounds—including different ethnicities, nationality, body types, gender identities, sexualities, and neurodiverse or disabled folks.

You must:
-
Be 18+
-
Have direct experience in the field you want to write about
-
Have worked or currently work in the Australian sex industry

Contributor Options

We understand the importance of privacy in this industry.
Writers can choose to publish:
-
Anonymously
-
Under a pen name or stage name
-
Option to add links to your socials or website for exposure

A short writer profile will accompany your posts to help readers connect with your work (as much or as little as you want).

Please Note

This is currently not a paid role. Our goal is to build a free, accessible platform filled with valuable resources created by sex workers, for sex workers—without paywalls or gatekeeping.
We hope this can be a space where your voice helps others feel seen, supported, and empowered and to give you (writers) more exposure.
